Collection and processing of user information in pseudonymised form

SWISSSONIC GMBH collects demographic data (i.e. information on age, gender, place of residence, income, occupation, education, etc.) of the users of various services and information about their Internet use. However, the demographic data and the information obtained about user behavior are stored separately from the associated personal information under a pseudonym. A pseudonym is an identifier that replaces the name or other identification features and excludes identification of the person concerned and conclusions about a specific person.
With the collection of such information, SWISSSONIC GMBH pursues two goals: Firstly, we would like to be able to provide users of our websites with customized online offers with the content and services that are relevant and of interest to them. This gives us the opportunity to offer more individual (but not individualized) content both in terms of editorial and advertising and thus also to increase the personal benefit within our online offers for you. On the other hand, we want to enable our advertising customers to reach the right target group as precisely as possible and without major wastage. SWISSSONIC GMBH publishes z. B. generalized user statistics (e.g. "70% use the online offer XY") to present and describe our services to potential partners, advertisers and other interlocutors or to be able to use them for other legally permissible purposes.
However, by pseudonymizing and anonymizing the information obtained, your privacy remains protected at all times because the information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individual persons.

B. compiled anonymous user statistics and used the data for market research purposes. However, none of the advertisers are provided with data that could be used to identify a specific person. For success analysis, we may use the cookies mentioned above, which store the general preferences of a user. This data may be enriched with further demographic data (e.g. age and gender) in on-site surveys. You will also be informed of this separately in the OnSite survey. The data is stored in the cookie on your computer. By storing the profile under a pseudonym, your data protection is enhanced because the data stored in the cookie do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your specific name.
